We will be speaking at Combat Engineer to share the latest developments to meet the needs of the Sapper.
We understand that the role of the combat engineer is becoming increasingly challenging, with greater requirements to overcome a broad range of obstacles, and to create obstacles for adversaries on a sprawling battlefield. We invest heavily in Research & Development to ensure that our equipment provides the highest levels of flexibility, adaptability and choice. At Combat Engineer, we will be available to discuss Pearson Engineering’s full range of equipment, in particular the latest developments for medium weight vehicles such as 6x6s and 8x8s. You can visit our Boxer Configurator to learn more about our approach.
Visitors will learn about our Bridge Launch Mechanism, an interchangeable attachment which can be added to any suitable vehicle which is fitted with a Pearson Engineering Vehicle Integration Kit. This allows the vehicle to use a bridge when it is needed, and to remove it when it is not, improving ‘unpredictability’ in the eyes of the adversary and reducing the signature of engineering vehicles. The Bridge Launch Mechanism can be rapidly interchanged with other Pearson Engineering tools such as to fulfil Minefield Breaching, Protection and Earth Moving tasks.
Combat Engineer and Logistics is an annual event which provides key stakeholders from both military engineering and logistics communities, a platform to network with peers, learn about advancements in technologies, future trends and requirements and address any shortfalls in capabilities.
