DSEI 2025 Spotlight
ENGINEERING A SAFER TOMORROW, TOGETHER.
As defence leaders, we are pleased to exhibit at DSEI UK 2025. We are applying our knowledge, experience and expertise of 40 years of military engineering to the unique challenges the future of the battlefield presents. At DSEI, we are proud to demonstrate how our products are being tested on the battlefield in Ukraine and the lessons we integrate into a constant cycle of innovation, delivering new technologies such as AI tools and uncrewed solutions to help preserve and protect the lives of our troops and allies.
RCV-Pioneer
Pearson Engineering’s RCV-Pioneer provides remotely controlled engineering capability to Robotic Combat Vehicles (RCVs), tailored to specific combat engineering missions via mission payloads which can be rapidly swapped out during operations as needed. This includes capability for obstacle clearance, route proving, minefield breaching and assault gap crossing, with the agile optimisation to respond to changing field conditions. Innovations such as self-lifting systems and quick release fastenings allow two soldiers to fit or remove in approximately 30-minutes, enhancing the protection of your soldiers.
Discover RCV-PioneerThreat-Sense
Our Threat-Sense technology provides any military vehicle or UAV (Uncrewed Aerial Vehicle) with the ability to positively detect and identify surface laid mines, enhancing your force’s situational awareness during missions. Using deep learning algorithms, Threat-Sense logs all detected threats with estimated GPS markers and timestamps for the operator. When used with a drone, the operator can control the unit from up to 5km away, across varying environmental conditions for quick and expansive remote surveillance of minefields. At DSEI we will be showcasing our Threat-Sense capability.
Learn more about Threat-SenseTraditional Front-End Equipment
We’re renowned for designing and manufacturing interchangeable Front-End Equipment and other attachments, which help armoured vehicles to breach minefields, clear explosive ordnance, protect against explosive devices, move and create obstacles and cross gaps. During DSEI, we will be showcasing our remote-controlled full-width mine plough on a Milrem Type-X uncrewed ground vehicle. Visit our stand (N2-310) to discover how we’re transforming legacy vehicles and armoured equipment into future robotic and autonomous systems.

Our Heritage
For more than 40 years, we have proudly supplied life-saving equipment to Armed Forces worldwide. Our proven heritage, combined with a commitment to unmatched innovation, ensures we continue to save lives through the balance of tradition and technology. Based at the historic Armstrong Works site in Newcastle upon Tyne, we are part of a legacy of engineering excellence that spans generations. Today, over 300 highly skilled personnel across engineering, manufacturing and functional teams contribute their expertise, dedication, and passion to our mission, delivering world-class solutions that make a real difference where they are needed most.
Innovation
As the future of the battlefield moves towards robotics and autonomy, it presents new challenges, which is why we are applying our leading innovation, from AI to remote operation, to create life-saving products to protect your forces. We design products that lend operational advantage during conflict where innovation happens quickly and delivers instant advantage. An example of our innovation is using mesh radio technology; soldiers can operate BEACON from several miles away, keeping them out of harm’s way during minefield breaching operations. We will be demonstrating this and discussing how we are deploying our other innovations at DSEI 2025.
