Recruitment of young engineers is high on our agenda at Pearson Engineering, enabling us to bring fresh thinking and pro-active solutions to our customers. Following a recruitment campaign at Universities around the country, this year has seen an increase in demand for graduate roles and summer internships, with a high level of good quality applications received.
With a commitment to recruiting the most exceptional engineers, Pearson Engineering launched an online application system for the first time this year. Graduates’ problem-solving skills and engineering acumen were tested to assist in the selection process.
Applications are in the process of being reviewed and shortlisted candidates for the role will be contacted shortly. As part of our selection process shortlisted students will be asked to participate in an interview by attending our offices in Newcastle, or via Skype.

Graduate engineers will be integrated into our design team with allocated mentors and will be involved actively in the design, development, manufacturing and testing of both core and new products. On the job training and off-line non-technical training modules will provide a clear development path and visible achievements.
Minimum Accredited 1st / 2:1 degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or a directly related subject.
