Pearson Engineering is excited to announce a unique opportunity for talented individuals to join our dynamic team.
Reporting to the Team Supervisor (Bonding) you will be responsible for the installation of composite components into a vehicle chassis to the required quality standards and project timescales.
You will need to work well within a small production cell with the ability to build relationships and communicate well with the other business functions, especially the Engineering and Quality team.
We are recruiting for 4 x Bonding Technicians to join our team.
Dexterity and attention to detail manipulating composite panels and build fixtures.
Ability to read and understand technical drawings, documentation, work orders, quality specifications, and process guidelines.
Strong team working skills and ethos.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to work precisely and accurately to manufacturing schedules.
Previous experience within a manual manufacturing environment.
Aptitude for following safety protocols.
Ability using cutting, trimming, sanding, drilling, and finishing tools.
Capability to actively participate in continuous process improvement.
Capacity to maintain clean, safe work environment and procedures.
Experience with armoured vehicles would be preferable but not essential.
German language is desirable but not essential.
You will be a good team player with a positive attitude, a willingness to learn and develop your skills and being able to use initiative to suggest solutions to problems.
Previous experience with bonding applications desirable.
As a defence contractor, we have a number of security obligations placed upon the Company, which means that all our staff, must be able to successfully achieve the relevant security clearances.
Holds a valid UK driving licence.
A passion for working in engineering/defence environment.
