Reporting to the Operations Manager you will be responsible for the establishment, development and day to day management of the Bonding Team within Pearson Engineering Ltd. This is a hands-on role which will involve bonding and fitting of panels.
The bonding team will be responsible for the installation of composite components into a vehicle chassis to the required quality standards and project timescales. You will also be a key contributor into the development of the manufacturing process and tools for this task.
Lead, manage and be part of the working team to install composite materials into a vehicle chassis.
Maintain and manage production logs and documenting all work for traceability and auditing.
Identification of the requirement for shop aids, required tooling, test specimens and developmental parts where required. Assistance in the design of such items.
NCR reporting.
Assure product quality.
Ensure build activities adhere to the production schedule with regular reporting of progress.
Identification and reporting of risks and opportunities to cost, quality and schedule within the build process and Bonding team.
Assist in development and growth of the Bonding Team to meet emerging company requirements.
As a defence contractor, we have a number of security obligations placed upon the Company, which means that all our staff, must be able to successfully achieve the relevant security clearances.
Holds a valid UK driving licence.
