Light Weight Mine Roller

The Light Weight Mine Roller is used to detonate and neutralise buried pressure-fused mines and other explosive devices. It is designed for light and medium wheeled and tracked vehicles.

Overview

The Light Weight Mine Roller (LWMR) is available in track-width configuration to provide vehicle self protection, and full-width configuration to prove a route for both the host vehicle and subsequent traffic.

The LWMR is fitted with on-board hydraulic powerpacks, or without if hydraulic power is built into the vehicle.

The LWMR is fitted to the vehicle with a simple mounting system which is common to the Surface Clearance Device (SCD) and Obstacle Clearance Blade (OCB).

An optional Magnetic Signature Duplicator (MSD) protects the equipment from the effects of magnetically fused mines.
