Demining
The Pearson Demining system offers low cost and supportable mechanical assistance to demining operations. It is based on a commercial agricultural tractor, adapted to the demining role, fitted with a range mine clearance tools for demining, vegetation clearance, soil conditioning and materials handling.
Overview
The use of adapted commercial components provides a highly reliable and supportable solution to deminers that may be used in remote field conditions where the support infrastructure may be limited.
The system is based on a tractor chassis, with tools to enable:
- The removal of anti-personnel and anti-tank mines
- The removal of vegetation from mined areas
- The preparation of the ground before mine clearance
- The movement and handling of vegetation, soil and obstacles in preparation for mine clearance
